“I think” Amontillado Sale

Description
An Amontillado but not a Sherry! Instead this wine comes from Montilla-Morilles about 150km away from Jerez. The production method is very similar but typically for the region it’s made using the Pedro Ximenez grape.
Rich aromas of walnuts and mushrooms are backed up by lemon zest and a light salinity. Extraordinarily versatile, it’s great with food ranging from raw oysters to shepherds pie.
