Description

The wines from Toro in northern Spain have had a reputation for being big, bruising beasts full of rich, ripe fruit. Over the past couple of decades there’s been a push towards lighter and more elegant wines with a focus on the the character of individual villages and single vineyards.

This is a single vineyard wine from one of the stars of the younger generation of Spanish winemakers, sourced from 100+ year old Tinta del Toro vines. It’s bright, elegant, and beautifully balanced with soft tannins and notes of wild blackberries and herbs.
